Solomon seeks and gets help from Hiram; drafts labor from Israel - K5/C2.

Temple built and described; furnishings made and described - K6-7/C3-4.

Ark brought into temple; Solomon worships God (recounts God's works, prayer, benediction, sacrifices); God answers Solomon, promising to respond in mercy to faithful worship at the temple - K8-9/C5-7.

Solomon's work: forced labor, fortifying cities, gift to Hiram, Egyptian wife, ships built that bring back gold - K9/C8
